Condolences to the Annan Family

The CCWHA Committee and many of our Association members would like to offer our thoughts and prayers to the family of David Annan, who passed away recently at the age of just 39 yrs.

David, a former CCWHA coach and talented hockey player, the son of Regina and Brian, brother to Alyson, will be sadly missed. We are thinking of all family members, particularly Regina and Alyson, as they grieve this sudden loss.

PINK DAY - Saturday 13th of August

PINK DAY!

Please note the change of date due to wet weather on the 23rd of July

Saturday 13th of August CCWHA will be raising money for Nation Breast Cancer Foundation

I am sure most people in the Association know someone who has been affected by breast cancer.

The current stats are that one in 11 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 75.

So, let's dig deep and do our bit to help the NBCF in their endeavor to find a cure for the disease that

affects so many Australia people.

Wear anything PINK - except when playing (unless authorised by the committee)

If your team chooses to wear pink while they play, it must be authorised by the committee

(FYI - Raby are already wearing PINK socks)

Make a gold coin donation to play

Someone will be at the start of each game with a collection container

Donations can also be made at the canteen

Purchase a PINK Ribbon

There will be PINK ribbons available to purchase on the day

Purchase something PINK from the canteen

Expect to see PINK cakes, PINK biscuits, there may even be PINK fairy bread

BBQ

We will be having a BBQ on the day - so bring your money, hang around and watch some

other games of hockey - Premier League games are always good to watch.

If you would like to help man the BBQ, please let Glenn Langley, Debbie Cairnduff

or myself know- the more help we can get from parents the better for all.

Any questions, please contact a committee member

DON'T FORGET TO WEAR PINK on Saturday 13th of August
